For her June 2006 Show at Goleta Public Library, Judy explored the allure and visual magic of the White Horse image.  She drew inspiration from dozens of white horses brought to Santa Barbara to march in the late-summer Old Spanish Days Fiesta Parade, an event she cherished in her childhood. White Horses marked Judy's first sustained arc on animal subjects since her ink-and-watercolor works in the 1970s. Here are 5 of the White Horses oil paintings.
